Deep drawing is a pressing process in which a flat plate is pressed by a punch to form an open hollow part through a die. Deep drawing is the most basic forming process in sheet metal cold stamping, which is widely used in aerospace, automotive and other manufacturing fields. With the continuous development of manufacturing technology at home and abroad, the precision of deep drawing parts is getting higher and higher. For the manufacturing and forming of some precision thin-walled parts, the deep drawing process is of great significance. In recent years, numerical simulation techniques and methods have been widely used in sheet metal plastic forming process and die design. Through the finite element simulation technology, the phenomena of cracking, thinning, wrinkling and springback in the process of deep drawing can be pre evaluated, so as to optimize the forming process parameters and improve the quality of deep drawing parts. Compared with the previous empirical process design, it greatly reduces the design cycle and manufacturing cost.
